Thank you for choosing to be part of our community. SoundScape is an app which aims to improve speech detection and discrimination in hearing-impaired individuals. We respect the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You. If there are any privacy policy that you do not agree with, please discontinue the use of Our Services. In short, We use Your Personal data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, You consent to the collection, processing, and use of Your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We take protecting Your privacy very seriously. While using Our Service, We will ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to identify You for the purpose of registration. Personally identifiable information includes, but is not limited to, information such as email address, Username (doesn’t have to be your actual name), Character/Gender (this is to choose your character, doesn’t have to be your actual gender and it can be changed later by You), a personal password (That we cannot show or access) and usage data. Usage and engagement Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include information with the following events such as App installation, App removal, App update, App first open, session start, user engagement, the time and date of Your gameplay sessions, the time spent during sessions, times app opened, unique user identifier (Generated by Firebase) and other diagnostic data. When You access the Service by or through a mobile device, We may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device You use, Your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of Your mobile device, Your mobile operating system, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data. Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device? This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

4. How Do We Use Your Personal Data?

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
For the performance of a contract: the development, compliance and undertaking of the purchase contract for the products, items or services You have purchased or of any other contract with Us through the Service such as one of our Subscription plans.
To contact You: To contact You by email, for the sole purpose of verifying Your account.
For other purposes: We may use Your information for other purposes, such as data analysis, identifying usage trends, determining the effectiveness of the services and to evaluate and improve our Service, products, marketing and your experience.

Our service offers applications for auditory training and education that are intended for users of different ages. We are committed to protecting privacy and compliance with COPPA (Children's Online Protection Privacy Act), and therefore Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect and distribute personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers. During the registration process, we may ask for certain information for notification and verification purposes, such as a parent or guardian's email address, child's first name, and age.
